“The best way to predict the future is to invent it” – Alan Kay

Not all predictions come true, but we’d take a bold prediction over a vague one any day. The great thing about a bold prediction is it creates discussion. Not maybe or possibly or broadly, but “I believe x will happen”.

Until Artificial Intelligence (AI) can predict the future for us, the best source of insight we have is the opinions of our peers and trusted thought leaders. That’s why the Digital Edge’s Predictions session is the most popular meeting of the year.

Our Speaker: Ade McCormack

Ade McCormack combines deep insights into what is driving the need for personal, organisational and societal transformation with the ability to relate it in a manner that both leaders and their people can act upon.

His work has taken him to 40 countries working with the world’s most recognised brands across many sectors. He is a former Financial Times columnist on digital leadership, and today works with the University of Cambridge at the sharp end of executive education. Ade is also a strategic advisor in both the public and private sector and has written six books on digital matters and has a ‘bits to boardroom’ understanding of the issues, given his past life as a technologist.

What is the experience?

All of our virtual roundtables are focused, collaborative and informative. As a participant you join via video and – thanks to a keynote speaker and moderated discussion – take away actionable ideas to implement within your business and with your clients.

Prior to the virtual meeting taking place, each attendee is interviewed to understand their interests and perspective. Those who register early will also contribute towards the insight report, which will be published prior to the virtual meeting and will be the focus of the discussion.
